NOTTS SENIOR LEAGUE GROUNDHOP 11/12 APRIL

Since September 2013, 10 Notts Senior League Clubs have been waiting for the date of Friday 11th/Saturday 12th April for the Notts Senior League Groundhop. With over 140 spectators already taking up the excellent offer of the Advanced Ticket of only £15 which covers admission to all 5 grounds and also a pack of the 5 programmes from the games, people are travelling as far as from Sweden, Holland as well as from all four parts of the UK, plus there are many more that will just turn up at the games. It really does support local Non League Football.
The Advanced Ticket sales have now closed, but people intending to come along can pay on the gate at £3 per match and £1 per programme.

Why do people come, some love to visit new grounds, hence the term Groundhopper, some it is a yearly get together, some come to see what its all about. Some come as where else can you get to watch 5 matches and help small Grassroot clubs and it not cost a fortune.

This season is a very special one for the Notts Senior Football League as they celebrate their 10th Anniversary since their formation in the 2003/2004 season. They are looking forward to the Groundhop being a success as like last season, with crowds of over 300 at most of the games.

The matches chosen for this season Groundhop weekend are as follows:

Friday 11th April 2014
Cotgrave FC v Burton Joyce FC 7.45pm

Saturday 12th April 2014
Wollaton FC v Beeston AFC 10.10am

Ruddington Village FC v Boots Athletic FC 12.50pm

Keyworth United FC v Sandhurst FC 3.40pm
(There will be a minutes silence before kick off in respect of the 25th Anniversary of Hillsborough)

At each game there will be stalls selling Football Programmes and bits and bobs and home clubs will be selling their FIRST EVER Enamel Badges plus have their own stalls.
